Hello and thanks for stopping by! The website is undergoing some renovations, but all important info should still be accessible! I might do away with the blog feature on here, considering most of my work is documented via social media these days: please see my instagram, twitter, and tumblr for more recent updates! Also, any leftover originals from art shows will be listed on my Etsy shop!
Please take a look around at the illustration and sculpture gallery above; Art events that I’m attending are listed to the right. If you have any questions or have interest in commissioning me, please send a message to email@example.com
Hello, friends! We’ll be at Zinefest Houston this Saturday, 2pm-8pm at Lawndale Art Center! This is the largest HTX Zinefest yet; held at a new location and spanning two floors! Did I mention admission is free? Here is a map for reference (James Ferry at table 3, I’ll be at 4). Hope to see ya there!
My pieces for the Cute & Rude Show are now available for purchase online!
They’ll be on display until the middle of August; check ’em out while the store’s still open!
Greetings! Just a quick update of current happenings around here: two new pieces have been added to the sculpture gallery: WTWTA Max doll (finally finished!) and a little needlefelted Moogle. This weekend, I will be at Comicpalooza — Artist Alley Table 2133 with James Ferry. We’d love to see you there!
Aside from that, my original “Nightwalker” piece will be in Castle of Dreams, a Studio Ghibli-themed show at Texas Art Asylum on Saturday, June 25 and I’m also working on on a couple pieces for the Cute & Rude show at CSA Galleria in July. Gonna be burning the midnight oil quite a bit this month…hopefully I don’t run out! Until next time!
Hello! It has been quite awhile since I made an entry here, so I thought I’d chime in with a little update. I had a major setback a few months ago, which resulted in downsizing from house to apartment, not to mention the emotional upheaval that accompanied it. While things are still a bit difficult, I’m determined to keep pushing through and not let it hinder my desire to create; I’ve already had a couple shows this year and now I’m currently prepping for Staple! in March!
The website gallery has been updated, though I might add a new section for sculpture work, since I am working on more pieces similar to this one:
She was made for a miniature themed show and now has a good home! There is still much to learn about this medium, but I find great joy in the process of experimenting with different materials to produce the desired result. I’ve got a few ideas that I’m excited to start on, so I better get busy! Until next update!
